In East Syracuse, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in New York, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. East Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and East Syracuse follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I just wanted to let you guys know. I came in last week and I noticed that your hanging plants were $25. I offered you guys 60 for 3 of them. And you guys Laugh at that. So I brought my business to Aldis The same hanging plants are only $8.99. I offered you guys 3 for 60. And I got 4 for 38. It's just. Not good business. To charge so much for your product. When times are so tough? For everyone. I don't know how you guys justify charging so much. If Ald.. I.can sell them for $8.99.

Mel's hanging baskets and annuals consistently last throughout the summer, always looking great. I haven't purchased any perennials there but I would expect them to be of the same high quality. I've used her greenhouse for many years, for business and home. Pricing is always very competitive.
